So many ribs to choose from...
Canada Day weekend in Waterdown means Ribfest! And with just a little over two weeks to go until the annual Rotary event kicks off in Memorial Park, my thoughts are already turning to which mouth-watering delights I will enjoy this year.
While my personal preference is a rich, smoky sauce combined with fall-off-the-bone tender pork, some of my fellow rib aficionados go for something with a more robust texture, dressed in a tangy sauce. Still others take a break from pork and enjoy the sticky, saucy goodness paired with chicken!
And then there are the sides…creamy coleslaw and beans take the whole Rib dinner experience to the next level.
Did you know… that the sides offered by many of the rib vendors are vegan and/or gluten-free? Which means that someone with special diet requirements can join in the fun! Just be sure to ask your server when ordering.
