And even though we have to do it farther apart than usual this year Waterdown will still be rocking, with 10 great bands we know from the park taking the Virtual Stage. Where do Ribfest donations go?
Every Canada Day weekend, the community answers the call for donations to Rotary during Ribfest. So, what does the Rotary Club of Waterdown do, and where do those donations go? Our Club, along with the Rotary Club of Flamborough AM, has been bringing Oh Canada Ribfest to Waterdown since 2010. For us, Ribfest is both a fundraiser and a community project. I love dogs. I love Ribfest. Alas, the two don’t go together. Waterdown’s Oh Canada Ribfest operates under the same regulations as a restaurant – which means to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone throughout the weekend, dogs are not allowed in the section of Memorial Park reserved for the festival. Canada Day weekend in Waterdown means Ribfest!
