Have fun and give back to the community
From the opening on Friday afternoon until closing time on Monday, Waterdown's Oh Canada Ribfest is jam-packed with food, activities and entertainment. It is also a chance to reconnect with neighbours and friends and kick off summer in style. Admission to the park is free and, with the exception of a few featured events, all the fun, music and fireworks are free. But Ribfest is also an opportunity to give back. A thirst for fun
Sampling ribs is thirsty work. Throw in the summer sun and typically high Canada Day weekend temperatures, and I'm soon looking for something to wet my whistle during all the festivities.
